AMY'S VIEW The view from Amy's window in Silver Lake, Los Angeles, USA.

"I'm lucky enough to have floor to see ceiling glass doors as my 'windows' in my main room. I live on a hillside in the Silver Lake section of Los Angeles and my view is straight across to the Franklin Hills. Off to the right above the tree tops are the San Gabriel mountains. I love my view. Its one of the things I'll miss most when I leave California"

POLLARD'S VIEW The view from Pollard's window in Bristol, UK.

"Great idea hope it continues on merrily. I view every time I'm in the ether. Kind of addictive is'nt it? Attached please find a view taken from the window of my S.U.V. about 10:30PM. At The Bristol Balloon Festival in England. I find it 'energetic, atmospheric and powerfully energising' "
LINDA'S VIEW

The view from Linda's windows in California.
"From the balcony of my apartment in San Mateo, CA. It was taken at dawn on 12/8/06 when we were having a gorgeous sunrise""The other was taken the Sunday after Thanksgiving from the car window on a drive down I-5 from Oregon to California crossing the Siskiyou Pass during a storm. This was the same storm that stranded the family up on a mountain pass to the west of there for more than a week"

PAUL'S NYE VIEW The view from Paul's window on new years eve in London, UK.

"Riddled with colds we spent the evening in. At midnight we watched the fireworks across London from our lounge window - a pretty spectacular site. And I checked my phone for the hundreds of adoring messages I always get. I also phoned my best friend Mark; we do this every year, realise we have nothing to say to each other, and agree to speak at a later date. It's a solid tradition"

KAREN'S VIEW The view from Karen's boat window in Tubattaha, Philippines.

"I would like to share my view when I went to Tubattaha. It is located along Sulu Sea within the Philippines Area of Responsibility. I was able to visit a Ranger Station who guards the protected Marine Sanctuary. On the lone sand bar are seabirds ready to take flight. One of the most beautiful scenes that day after a very colorful dive"
ADRIANA'S VIEW The view from Adriana's window in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA.

"A view from my dorm at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) of another dorm. I like to think of it as a space waffle; each window is about 1ft x 1ft, and an average room will have between 9 to 12 windows. This picture was taken just after dawn when the sunlight reflects off the metal exterior of the building"
ANGELI'S VIEW The view from Angeli's window in Manila, Philippines.

"This is view from my apartment window. My window faces the east so I see the sunrise. I'm a night person, so I don't see much of the sunrise -- but this time I did catch this magical hour when I got home from a night out"
SIMON'S VIEW The changing view from Simon's office window in Brussels, Belgium.

"I started a new job in January 2006, and the first picture is of the view from my office, looking out over the Parc du Cinquantenaire in central Brussels, Belgium. Then in June our offices moved to a suburb out near the airport, so the second picture is from my current office window. I know which I prefer..."
